Strawberry Pie     

Ingredients:
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1 quart fresh strawberries
1 Tbsp butter
1 3 oz pkg strawberry Jell-O
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1 baked pie shell, cooled

Preparation:
In saucepan, combine sugar & cornstarch. Mash 1 cup of berries; add water to make 2 cups. Stir into sugar mixture. Cook & stir until boiling; boil 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Add butter, Jell-O & lemon juice. Stir until Jell-O dissolves. Chill until partially set. Spoon 1/3 of Jell-O mixture into pie shell, top with whole berries. Spoon remaining Jell-O mixture over berries; chill until set.
