Smoked Brisket     

Ingredients:
Flat even beef brisket, rubbed
Cider Mop

Preparation:
Pre-heat smoker temperature to 225, lid closed for 15 minutes.

Season the brisket on all sides with fresh brisket rub.

Place brisket, fat side down on grill grate. Smoke brisket until it reaches an internal temperature of 160, about 5 to 6 hours. When the brisket reaches an internal temperature of 160, remove it from the grill.

Double wrap meat in aluminum foil and add the beef broth to the foil packet. Return brisket to grill and smoke until it reaches an internal temperature of 204, about 3 hours more.
