Creamy White Beans and Sausage     

Ingredients:
Smoked Sausage, sliced into 1/4' coins
1 Tbsp. butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup milk (or 3/4 cup milk + 1/4 cup cream)
1/2 cup chicken broth
30 oz. canned cannellini beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 tsp. thyme
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Preparation:
Melt butter in large heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook until edges are crisp, about 5 minutes. Stir in garlic and cook for another minute. Add milk, broth, beans and thyme to skillet. Season with salt and pepper, to taste. Bring mixture to simmer, reduce heat to low and continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until thickened, about 15 minutes.
