French Dip Sandwiches
Ingredients: 3 lb beef chuck roast
2 cups water
1/2 cup soy sauce
1 tsp rosemary
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp garlic powder
1 bay leaf
3 whole peppercorns
8 French rolls
sliced provolone
Preparation: Place roast in crock pot. Add water, soy sauce & seasonings. Cover & cook on low for 10-12 hours (or on high for 5-6 hours). Or cook in Instant Pot on high pressure for 60 minutes. Allow natural release for 15-20 minutes. Remove meat from broth; shred with forks & keep warm. Strain broth; skim off fat. Pour broth into small bowls for dipping. Serve beef on rolls.
