Salmon BLTA
Ingredients: For salmon:
1/2 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup canola oil
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2 salmon fillets (1 pound each)
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt or garlic salt
Sandwich:
bacon, cooked
tomato, sliced
lettuce
avocado, sliced
mayonnaise
sourdough bread, toasted
Preparation: In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the lemon juice, oil and Worcestershire sauce. Add salmon; seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Drain and discard marinade. Sprinkle salmon with seasoned salt and thyme. Let stand for 15 minutes. Using long-handled tongs, moisten a paper towel with cooking oil and lightly coat the grill rack. Place salmon skin side down on grill rack. Grill, covered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 12-15 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Assemble sandwiches.
