Strawberry Shortcake     

Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 cup shortening
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup milk
3 cups flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
strawberries, sliced
whipped cream

Preparation:
Combine all ingredients except strawberries and whipped cream and pour into greased & floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes.

Combine strawberries and sugar to taste. Serve over cake with whipped cream.
