Chocolate Truffle Blossom Cookies
Ingredients: 48 Dark chocolate truffle Kisses
2 sticks butter, softened
1 1/3 cups sugar
2 egg yolks
2 Tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
2/3 cup dark cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup sugar for rolling
Preparation: Remove wrappers from chocolates, place in freezer several hours or overnight. Beat butter, sugar, egg yolks, milk and vanilla in large bowl until well blended. Stir together flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. If necessary, refrigerate dough until firm enough to handle. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Shape dough into 48 (about 1 1/4 inch) balls; roll in sugar. Place on cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute, press frozen Kiss into center of each cookie.
