Breakfast Pizza
Ingredients: 1 lb. breakfast sausage
1 pkg. (8) refrigerated crescent rolls
1 cup frozen loose pack cubed hash brown potatoes, thawed in refrigerator overnight
3 Tbsp. diced red pepper
3 Tbsp. diced yellow pepper
1/4 cup thinly sliced green onions
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
5 eggs
¼ cup milk
½ tsp. salt
pepper to taste
2 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation: Cook sausage until well browned, drain fat. Press crescent roll dough into a 9 x 12 cookie sheet or an ungreased 12 inch pizza pan with points toward the center. Press over bottom and up sides to form a crust; seal perforations. Spoon sausage, peppers and onions over the crust. Sprinkle with potatoes and top with cheddar cheese. In a bowl beat together eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Pour over crust in the middle. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese over all. Bake at 375 oven for 25-30 minutes.
