Peach Cobbler     

Ingredients:
3/4 stick butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
1 pint fruit

Preparation:
Melt butter in a 8x8 inch cake pan at 350. Watch carefully to keep from burning. Combine remaining ingredients, except fruit, in a bowl. Pour over melted butter, but do not stir. Add fruit (any kind). If using canned fruit, pour off 1/2 of the juice. Bake at 350 about 45-60 minutes until done. You can easily double this recipe for a 9x13 pan.
