Dog Treat: Bacon Apple Pupcakes     

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp. cooked finely chopped bacon bits
2 1/2 cups whole wheat or oat flour
1 egg
1/4 cup beef or chicken stock
1/4 cup applesauce

Preparation:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare baking pan with baking spray. Mix together all ingredients until a heavy dough is formed. If dough seems dry, add a small amount of stock.

Press dough firmly into pan. Bake for 18-22 minutes until golden brown and fairly firm to the touch.

Cool treats in pan for 1 minute before carefully removing and place on cooling rack. When cool, cut into desired size treats.
